Facial Shiatsu Renewal (or Cosmetic Acupressure) is a programme that uses Acupressure, specific gentle massage and Shiatsu techniques to treat a person’s appearance. It is an effective way of treating small lines and wrinkles and is relaxing, completely painless and non-toxic (as opposed to most alternatives like Botox, Acupuncture or surgery).

It works by stimulating the, dermis, connective tissue and facial muscles and increasing the flow of Blood and Qi (energy) to the face. The result, after just a few sessions, is improved skin and muscle tone, healthier and livelier complexion and a reduction in appearance of lines and wrinkles.

A light, organic cold-pressed oil is used to help with the reduction in appearance of lines and wrinkles and you can optionally choose an essential oil to blend with it.

An initial course of 6 treatments is recommended on a weekly or twice-weekly basis. After that progress will be re-assessed and a follow up program (ususally less frequent) agreed upon where appropriate.
